Côtes de Bordeaux
The vineyard of Domaine de Terrefort Bibonne is now mainly located in the town of Sainte-Eulalie. It is planted on a clay-limestone soil, with some gravel present on the surface.
The grape varieties are mainly Merlot, but we also cultivate Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes to complete the blend.
Thanks to its capacity to moderate the supply of water to the vines, the soil of the estate allows us to obtain very late grape maturity, giving naturally concentrated colour, aromas and tannins.

70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon
Special care is given to this vineyard, allowing the grapes to ripen in the best conditions.
Mechanical harvesting is carried out when the level of phenolic maturity is reached. The vinification then takes place in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks.
The maceration is spread over a period of 40 days during which daily pumping-over gives the potential of the grapes.
Intense purple colour, the aroma is very complex with black fruits and spices. The mouth is powerful and structured with fine, melted and admirably coated tannins.
Ideal with red meats, this wine can also accompany a cheese board or other more elaborate dishes.
